Renia is an artist, activist, singer/songwriter, instructor, model, maker, organizer & mother of four lovely children. She is an Oakland, CA native who is actively involved in the Oakland Community & in the neighborhood where she sits on various boards & committees. She serves on Oakland’s city-wide Community Policing Advisory Board, the Hoover Resident Action Council, Oakland Unified School Districts Kitchen Project Advisory Committee as well as various committee within Oakland Rotary.

Most recently having worked on her first Global Grant through Rotary International. Because of her tireless efforts, she was awarded a C. Stuckey World Community Service Scholarship & will be attending her first Global Project Fair in El Salvador in Jan 2017.

Renia currently works as a Marketplace & Community Engagement Manager, in this role, she coordinates the implementation & programming of a community market which supports local micro & social businesses, with a focus on arts, cultural, music & inclusiveness. Renia is committed to empowering & uplifting others.
