A resident of Oakland since 1989, Lesley Mandros Bell has worked in precious metal clay jewelry and visual arts, teaching in the past at Studio One, Walnut Creek Art Center and other local art programs, as well as working as an editor. With an international upbringing in countries ranging from Pakistan to Poland, her main interest is in connecting people from disparate communities who share interests and strengths.  Lesley has worked as a volunteer for several non-profit boards and organizations in the Bay Area, and is currently serving as a Library Commissioner for the City of Oakland.
