Anahita grew up within a family of artists on a large farm in Northern California. As a teenager with little pocket money for canvas she started dumpster diving in the city for wood or old windows and did her first series of paintings this way. With a love for vintage and collage Anahita has done several series of suit cases and even covered a 1980 Datsun pickup truck in Foiled Origami Paper and photographs. Mediums may change with time, but what remains constant is her love of the process and her desire to create, inspire, and continue to learn.
